The Pomona Valley Pilots' Association was formed in 1954 by a group of pilots from the Pomona area of Southern California.
The goals are to promote fellowship and an interest in flying and to keep the public aware of the benefits of General Aviation by hosting aviation-related events.
The PVPA further supports General Aviation by providing scholarship awards to those pursuing a career in aviation; be it as a pilot, airplane mechanic or air traffic controller. Participation in PVPA events by those interested in aviation is welcomed and encouraged.
Association meetings are held on the last Thursday of each month at 7:30PM in the pilots' lounge at Brackett Airport. All pilots and non-pilots are welcome to attend and hear entertaining and informative speakers. Admission is free. |
